Not for nothing, but Will “Wesley Crusher” Wheaton’s blog rocks. ProBlogger actually makes six figures from blogging. I’m so hoping to read Nathan’s blog since I have a man-crush on him (crosses fingers hoping for the add). Copyblogger is pretty helpful. A parenting blog that cracks me up: one of the best is her birthday present post.
What’s In A Name?

Some people have mothers that speak in proverbs like “If you have nothing good to say, don’t say anything at all.” Not being similarly privileged, I was undeterred from posting the mindless ramblings that occurred to me today on my drive home from shopping.
Spotting a discarded couch on the sidewalk I asked my wife if she would buy it. “Heck No.” was her immediate reply “Who knows what’s living in it.”
My mind began listing a few innocuous storefront names which would curse business.
- Curbside Couches
- GrandMa’s Mattresses
- Well Used Adult Books
- Real Garbage Platters
- MT Bank (actually this one isn’t fair since it’s real.)
