That's part of the reason I don't like the Left Behind series because they are, like you said, making it all fiction. I hope I was establishing (as C.S. Lewis) that the kicker with Christianity is that any real examination will leave someone rejecting it because of an a priori perception or admitting that there is a definite ring of truth to it. Oh no doubt, I’m in agreement with you that many people look at Christianity as sci-fi or myth. I'm not a Trekkie, and I once chided a former co-worker for taking Star Trek "too seriously."
