Rey’s Dream-Doodles: Gambit
Posted by Rey
Once upon the time I had aspirations to be a comic book artist but quickly realized that 1) Comics are ridiculously hard to get into and 2) there are people way better than me. With that, I decided to incorporate drawing into my designs and it’s proved pretty effective thus far. But now, while having a meal with the kids or sitting around the table with a craft-fest, I find myself doodling things from that possible alternate reality. Since I normally scrawl on scrap paper, a napkin or some discarded envelopes I figured I’d save them up here before chucking them or giving them away to co-workers. I’ll include a thumbnail that links to a full size image and a medium sample that will be on the page for those who don’t want to bother.

Awesome and dynamic as always, but I have to ask about one artistic decision–why the reading glasses? Depicting him as an aging cajun?
