Eats: Grilled Steak
Posted by Rey
I love to cook. Worst, I love to take pictures of what I cook when I know it’s going to be a good meal. Therefore, I’m uploading those pictures in a non-linear and very random feature addition I like to call Eats. Very simple, I know but seeing pictures of great food on Scoboco’s site really got me jealous.
I had this steak soaking in marinade for 2 days. I then set it out on a counter (still in the ziploc with the marinade) from 6:00 am until 1:00pm when I finally started grilling it. (click on them for an uncropped, bigger image.)
The salad is just tomato, romaine, mozzarella, olive oil, red wine vinegar and ground pepper.
That on the side there is buttered wheat bread toast. I really wish I had a leaf of parsley or something to lay on the steak. It was a wish that lasted all of 30 seconds before I devoured the meal in 15 minutes.

Elaina: Um…erm… Elaina is a gorgeous name. I told you I named my daughter that right? but with a Y instead of an I.

E makes a good point. I now have this awesome mental image of Rey finishing this 15 minute feast, tossing his napkin on the plate and sliding back, exhaling an “I’m done” as he pats his stomach. The camera then pans to the other side of the table where his wife and children sit looking very slim and hungry.

I’m drooling on my keyboard, here.
Which is typical, but since I looked at those steak pictures, it’s worse.

OK, that was some meal: You’ve gone almost a month with no new posts. How’s your son doing in school? Have you done any more dream doodles? When was the last great insect battle? Give us something; stop being such a Curt-blogger.
