Michael Johns didn’t make it very far at all (being one of the first top 10 singers to get the boot). None of the girls made it to the top 2 slots, but Syesha Mercado did make it to the top 3 leaving the competition a match up between David Cook (the rocker who did Hello) and David Archuleta (the seventeen year old who sang his heart out to Imagine).
David Cook took home the American Idol crown and he’s probably kicking himself since he’ll have to record something with the horrendous AIdol production. Ew.
