Children of Hurin

I can’t even go into real details because Tolkien’s world is so expansive but this book was phenomenal. I’m not just saying that because I love Tolkien either. I’ve read Turin Turumbar’s story in the Silmarillion and again in The Book of Lost Tales but the way the story was compiled for CoH really allowed the characters to shine without trying to look at the greater story occurring all around.

So from opening the book twenty four hours ago to closing it I find myself weeping.

Outstanding.
