I just want to double double check…are you saying that basically, essentially, what we need here is a paradigm shift? FYI, I doubt that will ever be possible, in a nutshell. A lot of times language is an edge of your seat roller coaster thrill ride that isn’t going to change overnight, and you just hang on to a conversation to see if the last five minutes leave you breathless. DO you really want to throw the baby out with the bathwater while killing two birds with the proverbial stone? You can try, but you’ll find the rumors of some word’s demise are greatly exagerrated.
