Since we were on such good terms, I decided to let Boston do her thing. She made sure the weather was clear to allow a nice flight and she decided to allow some decent temperature to make the visit even more enjoyable. Encouraged, I went for a walk and she decided to show me her best side which is very hard to describe.
New Yorker’s would relate to the stone work of museum mile, the culture of the West Village and the relaxed atmosphere of NYU mixed with a dash of financial district. Oriole’s would have echoes of the Harbor dashed with a smattering of pre-Brooklyn streets. MCF wouldn’t get pass the sundresses. Either way, the place was beautiful

I can’t post it for various reasons, but did I ever show you that semi-risque picture my girlfriend at the time took of me posing with a seemingly innocent piece of abstract sculpture in front of a museaum in Boston?
Boston cool, definitely cultural. My best New Year’s Eve was spent on the main road with the train tracks in the middle of the street, going from one event to another. The town became one giant open house, with string quartets in one building, a film festival in another, museum exhibits, and eventually at the end of the road fireworks by the old, old ships.
But, as you accurately pointed out, sundresses trumps all. ;)
I don’t think you ever showed me that picture so I will be i-mming you to see if you’ll allow a viewing.
