Yet another show dealing with Time Travel that has a high probability of being canceled even though its fairly decent, was previously incarnated on the BBC<\/a> (so it means it might actually have a real ending) and has Harvey Keitel as one of the main players. <\/p>\n Well technically its not time travel; its more like Desmond-Travel where the mind goes off into some alternate time line that somehow relates to the current one and can simultaneously affect the current one. Lost Science at its best.<\/p>\n Anyway, Cop (Jason O’Mara<\/a>, Resident Evil) going after serial killer has his girlfriend (Lisa Bonet<\/a>) kidnapped by the psycho. Receiving the horrid news and going after the killer himself, our hero gets hit by a car and sent back to 1973 where he’s still a cop (though a transfer) to the NYPD and using modern methods in a smoke filled, sexist and violent past (Harvey Keitel<\/a> evokes a whole mess of Bad Lieutenant memories while maintaining The Good Guy image he is properly portraying).<\/p>\n Our hero manages to solve the crime in the past by finding out that the young lad was a copycat of someone who was doing the same thing in the 70s. After stopping it he hears on his car radio his girlfriend talking about how she’s safe now. Earlier in the show while watching TV he saw a doctor speaking about the coma he was in.<\/p>\n What’s good is the Lost Science and that the mysteries are in a completely different environment than today’s detective slickness (like they get excited that they can get finger print results in 3 weeks or the fact that the only female cop–called Annie No-Nuts–is a psychologist and understands most of what our hero says while everyone else guffaws).<\/p>\n
