With maps<\/a>, cell phone access<\/a>, satellite imagery<\/a> and (now) helping us shop<\/a> Google is definitely integrating itself<\/a> into our daily lives. I can\u2019t wait until Skynet<\/a> Google launches so I can mark the date down in my google calendar<\/a> and share it with gmail<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Speaking of integration, do you still have a .MAC account<\/a>? I always thought it was odd that Apple would charge for something that you can get anywhere on the web for free. I was wondering how much it costs since I couldn\u2019t immediately find that info on Apple\u2019s site.<\/p>\n

Some kids dream up some tech to hand over to their liege: Bill<\/a> Gates.<\/p>\n

I really have to get a handle on CSS so I can make some gorgeous tableless stuff that doesn\u2019t show up in some browsers. Despite that, design shack<\/a> is pretty cool.<\/p>\n

Safari out of the box is a joke. But with Pimp My Safari<\/a> you can make it (somewhat) functional. Too bad the only one I really need costs cash<\/a>\u2014unlike Firefox which is all free<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Bryce Zabel thinks back about 2004\u2019s plans to reboot Star Trek<\/a> (HT: Jeremy). I just read the pdf<\/a> (it’s on my box too<\/a>) and was blown away. Well, we\u2019ll see how the next movie<\/a> is with JJ Abrams<\/a> at the helm (not of the Enterprise).<\/p>\n

Flight of the Conchords<\/a> are both funny and extremely talented. One of them has quite a fan following from his brief appearance in the Lord of the Rings: dubbed Figwit<\/a> (Frodo says \u201cI\u2019ll take the ring\u201d and the female audience is thinking \u201cFrodo is great\u2014who is that!?!?\u201d when the camera pans briefly by him. He’s actually supposed to be Aegnor or so They<\/a> say.) Warning, some of their material is sensitive and I thought the Figwit reference needed some rounding out.<\/p>\n
